It was my niece Alexis, first birthday right after Ling and Sandra’s shoot. Got back in time for pig, poke, and hula/tahitian entertainment.

Things to remember for a couple to do when taking wedding engagement photos:
-Do homework and look at other engagement shoots. This will give you ideas of how you will and want to pose.
-Relax
-Have fun
-CLOSE YOUR EYES WHEN I TELL YOU TO KISS! (Seriously, it looks weird when one partner is staring at the other partner while kissing. This commonly happens with the guys for some reason.)
With that said, here we have Ling and Sandra. I’ve known them since high school and they will be getting married this June. Recently, they also celebrated their son’s first birthday.
The City was the destination for the engagement shoot. Palace of Fine Arts to Baker Beach to Potrero Hill. Though it wasn’t sunny, the overcast was a good light diffuser.
Another year in the books celebrating an anniversary with Koji Sake Lounge. Big thanks to all the djs and staff for both nights. And thanks again to all that stopped by and had a drink!

An Inspired Event, an event planning team consisting of Maritess and Jackie, always provide details for their. This time it was for Maritess’ husband Ed.
The theme for the surprise birthday celebrant was obviously Giants. All of the fam and friends wore their Giants gear along with face cut outs of his face.
First time inside SF City Hall. So many marriages going on, they call you up like the DMV. Overall it was a nice ceremony in some beautiful detailed classic decor.
Justyne, an old friend I haven’t seen since the USF days, allowed me to be her photographer for her momentous occasion last Friday. Now she has a 2 year old boy and one on the way. Congrats!
The hotel was the Le Meridien and the ceremony was at SF CIty Hall.
Hair/makeup by Julie Dy.
SF art gallery hopping last Saturday. First stop showcased Curiot from Mexico. Crazy amount of detailed brush strokes.
I was fortunate to find a model willing to shoot with me when I went to Hawaii back in 2011. Gabriella at the time had previously won the Women’s Pacific Paradise Bikini Cup for 2010. More recently she won the Miss Latina Hawaii Scholarship and just this past weekend she won Miss Honolulu 2013. Big congrats to her and all her accomplishments!
